MEET THE BAND

  • Sebastian Dallisay-Hockett

Sebastian Dalisay-Hockett is a peaceful songwriter from Brooklyn, New York. He is currently earning indie credibility under the open skies of the Midwest.

Sebastian’s guitar parts are central to his creativity and his music is imbued with hyper specific imagery. Many of Sebastian’s songs are bittersweet which can be traced back to his nostalgic nature.

  • Imogene Stevens

Imogene Stevens, an Americana singer-songwriter from North Carolina, began her musical journey at age five. Her formal music education continues at Interlochen Center for the Arts, where she refines her songwriting and instrumental skills.

Her biggest musical influences are Dolly Parton, Paul Simon, and Joni Mitchel. She plans to attend the University of Georgia to study business and music. Outside of music, Imogene enjoys hiking and scrapbooking.

  • John Teti

Hi! My name is John Teti and I’m a singer-songwriter from Lawrenceville, NJ. I’m currently studying at the University of Southern California’s Thornton School of Music in Los Angeles, where I’m focusing on pop songwriting and Jazz piano. My biggest influences come from Folk and Rock styles of the 60s and 70s, especially Brian Wilson, Stevie Wonder, Randy Newman, John Prine, Paul Simon, Billy Joel, Donald Fagen, and the Beatles, but I also draw a lot of inspiration from songwriters of the last 30 years, including Ben Folds, Steven Page and Ed Robinson (Barenaked Ladies), the Avett Bros., Robin Pecknold (Fleet Foxes), and Jacob Collier. I’m a huge Jazz fan too (Nat Cole and Billie Holiday are still duking it out as my favorite singers of all time), but I could talk for days without sleep about my favorite music, so I have to stop somewhere.

I’ve been playing with Imogene for almost 2 years now, including a series of gigs we played last summer as the Dust Box Band. I’ve written and self-produced two albums, the most recent being A New Start Later with Sebastian. He and I had a blast together assembling that project, and it showcases some of my proudest musical achievements. You can check it out on our Spotify page. I’m so excited to see you at one of our shows!

  • Ben Antony - Banjo

Benjamin Anthony is from Kent County on Marylands Eastern Shore. He grew up hearing Avett bros cd’s and local music like Chester River Runoff. Started playing guitar around twelve and got into the banjo at eighteen. He plans on picking the banjo for the foreseeable future.

  • Anjali Haaf - Drums

Anjali Haaf, a powerhouse drummer from Southern California, has been making noise—literally—since the age of five. While drums are her first love, she’s a proficient bassist, guitarist, and vocalist.

Now a freshman at the prestigious Interlochen Arts Academy, Anjali is sharpening her craft in popular music drumming, bringing energy and precision to every musical project she tackles.

  • Malik Joseph - Electric Bass

My name is Malik Joseph and I’m going to change the world. Just like love, Music is a universal language that we all speak, it’s what pulls us together. I love God, encouraging others, and I believe a smile is medicine for the soul.
